Counselling is a non-judgemental, confidential and supportive space for you. It is usually a short term more focused process, which facilitates the client exploring current difficulties. These difficulties may range from stress, anxiety, panic attacks, relationship issues to dissatisfaction with life and the search for meaning.
Psychotherapy is a longer process and looks to the deeper root of a problem. Past emotional trauma can be buried deep in the unconscious and can manifest as anxiety, depression, relationship problems etc. Exploring the past can bring emotional experiences into awareness and thus provide relief.
